The Kentucky Vegetable Growers Association was established in 1970 as a non-profit organization to bring together individuals interested in vegetable production. One of our most important activities is to co-sponsor the annual Kentucky Fruit and Vegetable Conference, providing opportunities for our members to learn the latest production techniques, network with university extension specialists, equipment and supplies dealers, and other growers, and attend conference sessions on topics such as farmers’ markets, commercial vegetable production, organic production, direct marketing, and agritourism. We also publish a quarterly newsletter and host events for Kentucky produce growers.

OUR MISSION…

  • Promote Kentucky-grown produce
  • Support research activities at Kentucky universities
  • Encourage people to work in the vegetable industry
